Privacy Policy
Overview
Sproutloom: Calm Merge Garden ("Sproutloom", "the app", "we") is an offline casual puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information when you use it on Android devices.
The app is designed to work without an internet connection, without a user account, and without advertising.
Information We Collect
We do not collect personal information.
The app does not:
- Require registration, login, or a user account
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location
- Use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics in version 1.0
- Transmit your data to our servers (the app has no network permission)
- Sell or share personal information with third parties
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
To provide gameplay, the app stores data only on your device, including:
- Game progress (board state, scores, moves, coins earned in a session)
- Player profile data (coins, statistics, onboarding status, daily bonus date)
- Mission progress and collection discovery status
- Garden decoration ownership and placement
- App settings (sound effects, haptics, theme, reduce motion preferences)
This information is stored using local Android storage (Room database and DataStore preferences). It remains on your device unless you delete it as described below.
Android Permissions
The app declares no Android permissions in its manifest (no
INTERNET, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions).
Optional features in Settings:
- Sound effects — uses the device's local system sound APIs when enabled
- Haptic feedback — uses the device's standard view haptic feedback when enabled; no vibration permission is requested
These optional features do not send data off your device and can be turned off in Settings.
Children's Privacy
Sproutloom is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because the app does not collect personal information from any user, no child-specific data is transmitted to us.

Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete all local app data at any time by:
- Using Settings → Reset all progress inside the app, or
- Uninstalling the app from your device
After deletion or uninstallation, locally stored game data is removed from the app's private storage on your device. We do not retain copies on our servers because we do not receive your data.
Data Security
Game data is stored in the app's private storage area on your device, which other apps cannot access under normal Android security rules. Because the app does not connect to the internet, your gameplay data is not transmitted over a network by the app.
Third-Party Services
Version 1.0 of Sproutloom does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social login services. Google Play may process information according to Google's own policies when you download or update the app from the Google Play Store; that processing is governed by Google, not by this app's code.
International Users
The app stores data locally on your device. We do not transfer personal information internationally because we do not collect or receive personal information through the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app changes (for example, if new features or permissions are added). When we update the policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app Privacy Policy text and on this page.
